Ancestor of all Plamondon
in North America

Philippe Plamondon also known by the name of Lamondore or Mondon Lafleur, from Lapeyrouse (close to Clermont-Ferrand in Auvergne, France, got married to MARGUERITE CLÉMENT, on April 23rd, 1680. The wedding was held in Laprairie, Quebec.

They had 5 clildren, Antoine, Madeleine,Pierre, Benoit et Etienne.

Pierre got married to Marie-Charlotte Hamel, at Ancienne-Lorette on May 2nd, 1709. All Plamondon descended from him.

Many Plamondon emigrated to the United States of America. In some cases, the name Plamondon became Plumadore, Plamadore, Plumondon, Plemonden, Plasmondon, Plamandon.

Pierre Plamondon and Marie-Charlotte Hamel had 15 clildren:

  4. Joseph got married to Marguerite Maret on Feb. 6, 1741

  5. Marguerite got married to Pierre Drolet on Jan. 11, 1734

  6. Michel got married to Catherine Robitaille on Nov. 24, 1749

  7. Catherine got married to Louis Maret-Lépine on Jan. 22, 1742

  8. Antoine got married to Marie-Ursule Maret-Lépine on Jan. 24, 1748

  9. Jean-Baptiste

  10. Charles

  11. Jacques got married to Marguerite Drolet on May 19, 1749

  12. André got married to Félicité Meunier on Jan. 22, 1751

  13. Marie-Anne got married to Alexandre Trudel on Aug. 23, 1750

  14. Joachim got married to Thérèse Pageot on Feb. 9, 1756

  15. Marie-Jeanne got married to Pierre Boutet-Leboeuf on Apr. 28, 1755
